Campus Hiring
The PASWI Recruitment Team is frequently engaged in Campus Hiring (also known as campus recruitment), a strategic approach used by organizations to recruit final-year students and recent graduates directly from colleges, universities, and business schools. This process is streamlined to identify and onboard entry-level talent with the right academic background, technical skills, and growth potential.
Key Aspects of Campus Hiring
PMC targets final-year students (Undergraduates, Postgraduates, MBA) who are nearing graduation, as well as those who have graduated recently. Campus hiring initiatives are typically conducted several months before graduation—for example, between September and December for students graduating in May or June. These drives are aimed at filling entry-level positions, Management Trainee roles, and specialized technical roles. To execute this process effectively, companies collaborate closely with the institution’s Placement Office or Training & Placement (T&P) Cell.
The process usually involves
- Pre-Placement Talk (PPT): An introduction of the company and the job roles to the students
- Aptitude Tests/Written Exams: Assessing quantitative, verbal, and logical reasoning skills
- Group Discussions (GD): Evaluating communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Technical Interview(s): Testing knowledge specific to the role/field (e.g., Electrical Engineering concepts for MD. Junaid Alam's field).
- HR Interview(s): Assessing cultural fit, salary expectations, and behavioral aspects
- Successful candidates receive a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) or a final offer letter, usually with a future joining date after graduation
