Job Description:

  • Adherence to standards: Follow industry codes, company guidelines, and drafting conventions (e.g., ISO, ANSI, BIS).
  • Clarity in communication: Drawings should be easy to interpret by engineers, builders, and clients.
  • Confidentiality: Respect project secrecy and avoid sharing sensitive designs

  • Responsibilities of a Draftsman

    • Prepare technical drawings: Create detailed plans, layouts, and schematics for engineering, architectural, or manufacturing projects.
    • Interpret specifications: Understand instructions from engineers, architects, or designers and convert them into drawings.
    • Use drafting tools/software: Operate CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.) or manual tools for precision.
