Role Summary

The Senior Engineer – Civil/Structural will be responsible for civil and structural engineering design activities for Oil & Gas industrial facilities. The role involves providing technical assistance, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, reviewing engineering deliverables prepared by juniors, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Engineer and manage civil and structural design activities for Oil & Gas and industrial projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables prepared by junior engineers and designers
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and design deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and relevant international standards.
• Participate in Client Site Visits along with other team / discipline members.

Preferred Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of comprehensive Civil & Structural design experience, preferably in Oil & Gas projects.
2. Experience in industrial plants, oil & gas facilities, power plants, infrastructure, or high-rise buildings.

3. Hand on experience in the design and analysis of the following Civil & Structural Engineering Works.

• Industrial RCC buildings.
• Foundations for:
  • Rotary Equipment
  • Static Equipment
  • Storage Tanks
• Industrial Sheds
• Pile Foundations
• Liquid Retaining Structures:
  • Elevated Water Tanks
  • Underground Water Tanks
  • Other liquid-retaining structures
• Rigid and Flexible Pavements
• Structural Steel Structures, including:
  • Pipe Racks
  • Elevated Trestles
  • Technological Structures
  • PSV Platforms
  • Other industrial steel structures

Software Proficiency

Hands-on experience in the following structural engineering software is required:

• STAAD.Pro
• RCDC
• RAM Connection (Connection Design)
• MAT 3D
