Cable Jointing & High-Voltage (HV) Works

• Perform and oversee the jointing, splicing, and termination of low to high-voltage (e.g., 11kV, 33kV) power cables.
• Supervise the installation of straight-through joints, transition joints, and indoor/outdoor terminations.
• Lay out and monitor the safe installation, trenching, and routing of underground cables.
• Conduct cable testing, pressure testing, and fault location/troubleshooting to ensure network integrity.
• Understand blue prints with systematic drawing analysis
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities for a crew of electricians, apprentices, and cable jointers.
• Liaise with general contractors, engineers, and other trades on site to prevent delays.
• Ensure all cable jointing and electrical works are executed in strict accordance with BIS, IEC, or equivalent industry standards.
• Enforce PPE requirements & safety standards
